Samantha Kanaris finished seventh in the nation for Cosmotology. Justin Owens finished eighth in the nation for Criminal Justice. Thomas Gilstrap finished tenth in the nation for CPR/First Aid. Congratulations to all students for representing S.C.

Skelton's first ever Gold medal at the SkillsUSA national championships in Kansas City 6/26/09. Austin Sloan and Chris Smith took the Silver medal for Mechatronics. The last time B.J. Skelton medaled in national competiton was in 1997. This was also two of only four competitions that S.C. won this year at the nationals which comprise 91 competitions with 5400 students competing.
